IntelliCyt (formerly Sage Sciences, Inc.) was founded in 2006 by life science entrepreneurs and leading scientists with deep experience in cell analysis systems and applications.
Flow cytometry has been utilized for over 30 years to solve many important and difficult problems in biology and medicine. With hundreds of validated assays, it is the gold standard in cell analysis. One of the largest trends in a variety of life sciences applications is the drive towards quickly getting results from a rapidly growing number of multiparameter cell-based and multiplexed bead-based assays that have come about due to developments in genomics and proteomics.
Flow cytometry is one of the most versatile technologies available to provide such measurements, but to date has not been able to achieve the throughput needed due to technical limitations on front-end sample handling and back-end data analysis. IntelliCyt's high throughput HyperCyt® system solves these limitations.
IntelliCyt's technology is revolutionizing the way researchers do cell-based screening. With our initial HyperCyt system, consisting of the HyperCyt Autosampler and HyperView™ data analysis software, researchers can perform bigger experiments with more controls and replicates, screen more compounds, and analyze data in ways never before possible with conventional flow cytometry.
