Product FAQs
How many parameters can you collect with HyperCyt?
You can collect as many parameters as your flow cytometer has available.
How many cells can you collect per well?
You can collect as few or as many cells as you need for your experimental design.
What is the minimum sample requirement per well?
Specimens as small as 10 µl can be analyzed, with the actual uptake as low as 1-2 µl. Since there is no dead volume, the remaining specimen can be re-sampled for kinetics studies.
Can I use my current data analysis software to report results?
Yes. HyperView Data Analysis Software can take the plate data file and generate individual FCS data files for each well and export them to your current analysis program.
Do I need to modify my flow cytometer to utilize HyperCyt?
With most flow cytometers we are able to utilize the sample input port to interface with the HyperCyt Autosampler. There are no permanent modifications. It is simple to switch back and forth.
How much carryover can I expect to see between wells?
Carryover is sample dependent. 1-2% particle carryover has been observed in very small (<2 µl samples). Inter-well washes or larger samples decrease that to <1%.
